A photo series from 20-year-old artist Flora Borsi shows what it would look like if we used Photoshop in real life.

The young artist from Budapest, Hungary, was inspired to create the project from her own experience of using Photoshop and the impact it has had on her own self-perception.

"I'm a photographer, and I'm a Photoshop addict - I retouch almost every picture, but not every detail," she told The Huffington Post.

"Once I went to the bathroom, and I saw something on my face. I had an instant reaction, for a second I thought I could remove a spot from my face with this software in reality!"

Rather profoundly she added: "I'm really curious about what people would do with Photoshop in real life.

"Maybe everybody would be perfect, but only [on the] outside? What would be the difference between us?"

According to Flora you can have too much of a questionably good thing. She worries Photoshop use has given way to overcorrection as an issue in art and advertising.

"Little freckles, wrinkles, etc defines us and make everybody unique."

Without coming over all Carrie Bradshaw on you, we got to thinking what changes we'd make if we could photoshop ourselves IRL. Everyone wants a flawless complexion, right?

Flora's admission comes after reports that nine-month-old royal baby Prince George has already become victim to retouching thanks to Us Weekly magazine.

Royal fans were quick to announce their utter disbelief that anyone would think to airbrush a baby.

"Utterly weirded out by @usweekly's Photoshopping of Baby George," tweeted one. "Why would they do this? Baffled."
