Our year's review starts with celebrations - after 12 months of excitement, hard work, challenges and glory, it is time for Hang-Up to raise glasses and enjoy.

Now that we gave you the ending, let us show you the beginning of this most prolific and full of surpises year where we continuously pushed the boundaries, challenged and provoked perceptions by exhibiting new and well-established names such as Magnus Gjoen, Rosie Emerson, Anjia Niemi, Nancy Fouts, kennardphillipps, Joe Webb, Mark Powell, Sir Peter Blake, Stanley Donwood, Lauren Baker.

Spring brought empowerment, sense of support and feel of truthfulness in the face of artistic duo kennardphillipps' 'Blue Murder' show and a surreal, almost dreamlike reality, captured masterfully in the quirky hand-cut collages of Joe Webb in his 'Pulp Friction'.

Ephemera, witty criticism and piercing nostalgia - they are all favourite 'weapons' of choice of Pop Art's true storyteller - Sir Peter Blake. His collection of images at Hang-Up, named simply 'Pop', are all inverted to comment on and capture the spirit of a long-gone era.

This year saw Hang-Up participate in London's premiere event for contemporary art with roots embedded in urban culture - Moniker Art Fair 2013. Here is a little overview of our stand featuring new works by Magnus Gjoen, Lauren Baker, Joe Webb and Mark Powell.
