According to Hollywoodlife.com, 25-year-old Evan and Ashlee, 29, were friends for nearly a decade before they went public with their romance in July 2013.
People.com reports that Ashlee recently spent time getting to know her future mother-in-law, Diana Ross, at a concert after party. She's only one of the world's most famous and iconic stars. No pressure, Ashlee.
Evan will become stepfather to Ashlee's son with Pete, Bronx Mowgli, and he couldn't contain his excitement as he shared the engagement news on Twitter, writing: "The love of my life said YES!!!!!!"
