If you work in construction, we’re going to take a wild guess and say you’re probably not buying your safety gear from Asos.
Yet the site is now selling an uncanny orange hoodie complete with reflective grey stripes for 30 quid – a damn sight more expensive than the real deal.
The unisex hoodie is by the brand ‘Collusion’, which describes itself as “a new brand for the coming-of-age generation that refuses to compromise on principle or style”.
Needless to say, the hoodie raised a few eyebrows on Twitter.
It’s not the first time Asos has taken style inspiration from the world of work. In 2017, the retailer sold this Puma getup that looked suspiciously like the Sainsbury’s uniform.
But the Asos high vis jumper hasn’t got a patch on this jacket previously sold in Selfridges.
The mind boggles.
