A pregnant Sudanese woman who gave birth on death row was forced to deliver her baby whilst in shackles, her husband has claimed.
Meriam Yehya Ibrahim is awaiting a death sentence in Sudan for leaving Islam and marrying a Christian man.
She was sentenced to death by hanging for apostasy (abandoning Islam) and flogging for adultery, after refusing to renounce her religion.

Daniel Wani meets his daughter for the first time
Daniel Wani visited his wife and baby daughter Maya for the first time since her birth on Tuesday.
Wani told the Telegraph: “They kept a chain on her legs. She is very unhappy about that.”
Ibrahim has been held, alongside her 20-month-old son Martin, since February.
She delivered her baby girl five days prematurely in the hospital wing at Omdurman Federal Women’s Prison in North Khartoum.
The courts have ruled Ibrahim may breastfeed her baby for two years before the execution will be carried out.

Wani is appealing his wife’s sentence, but told the newspaper: “She is not going to renounce her religion though. She told me that.”
Human rights organisation Amnesty International is calling for Ibrahim’s immediate and unconditional release – as are thousands of others.
Kathy Voss, Amnesty UK’s Individuals at Risk Campaigner, said: “There are now three innocent people in that cell.
“The way Meriam has been treated is sickening, and it has appalled the world. She has been kept shackled and alone whilst heavily pregnant, and she now faces being returned to that cell with a newborn child, still under a sentence of death.
“This really is the stuff of nightmares."
Sudan has a majority Muslim population, which is governed by Islamic law.
