THE SCOOP: Inspiration for this collection was been taken from "This is England" and the idea of skin appearing raw and natural. Key makeup artist Pica described the look as "after being out all night and heading straight for the catwalk". It was "ruffled, yet glowing."
GET THE LOOK MAKEUP: First pica blended Strobe Cream over the entire face to hydrate and illuminate the skin before using Studio Finish Concealer where needed. Mac's Kohl Pencil in black was thickly applied under the eye to give what Pica described as the "smouldering look." Blacktrack Fluidline was then drawn through the lower lashes for more intensity before Mac Eyeshadow in Carbon was used over the eyeliner in order to fix it in place. On the lids of the eyes, Pica dusted a coral shade of eyeshadow for a "tired" effect. The main product for the eyes was one of Pica's favourites, Mac Pro Shine Mixing Medium. This added "sheen" and brightened the eyes as well as being used over the lips before black mascara finished the look. Cheeks were simply left bare.
GET THE LOOK HAIR: Hair appeared sleek and shiny, and moved elegantly with the models as they walked down the catwalk. To create the glossy shine, the Babyliss team used the Babyliss Pro Creative Styler and products such as Babyliss finishing cream and hairspray to fix the hair in place.
