BBC News presenter Kate Silverton has announced she is expecting her second child.
Kate, 43, who is already mum to daughter Clemency, two, shared her happy news on Twitter with the message: "Very happy morning all - a little bit of 'news' - Mike & I very happy to share that Clemency is set to become a big sister this summer."
She then shared a scan photo showing her unborn baby giving the thumbs up.
Kate conceived Clemency naturally following four failed rounds of IVF. It is thought Kate and husband Mike Heron's second child was also conceived without help, as Kate tweeted: "Beyond thrilled - and once again totally surprised and blessed by Mother Nature."
Speaking to Hello! magazine when she was pregnant with Clemency, Kate called her pregnancy a 'miracle', saying:
"This baby is the closest it gets to a miracle for me. Mike and I resigned ourselves to being childless. We felt desperately sad about it but, as a positive person, my philosophy was that everyone faces challenges in life, and very often much worse than ours."
