A spokesmen for the actor confirmed the news on Wednesday with the following statement: "I am delighted to confirm that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child. They are both over the moon."
Cumberbatch, 38, broke hearts everywhere when his engagement to Hunter, 36, was announced in The Times newspaper on 5 November last year. And now there's a baby on the way? It's all too good.
