‘How The Grinch Stole Christmas’ will hit cinemas in November 2017, according to reports in the US, and the film will be made by Illumination Entertainment, who gifted us with the Minions.
The announcement was made at the ongoing Cinema-Con convention.
As lovers of all things Cumberbatch will know, the actor will also be making an appearance on the silver screen this year too, when his first Marvel release debuts this November.
Earlier this week, fans were given their first peek at ‘Dr Strange’, which also stars A-listers including Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Benedict is currently here in Blighty, busy filming the long-awaited fourth series of ‘Sherlock’ with co-stars Martin Freeman, Louise Brealey and Amanda Abbington.
He’ll also be making another high profile TV appearance, in the upcoming Shakespeare-based series ‘The Hollow Crown’.
