Beyonce ‘Formation’ Tour Date Cancelled, With No Explanation

A new date for the gig is yet to be announced.

Beyonce has left fans bewildered, with the announcement that one of her ‘Formation’ tour dates will no longer go ahead as planned.

The singer will no longer take to the stage in Nashville on Thursday 5 May, and while ticket-holders have been told that the gig will be rescheduled, a new date for it has not been confirmed.

A statement from Bey’s representative, given to E! News, reads: "Following Wednesday's sold out opening night Formation World Tour concert in Miami, promoters Live Nation announced that the Nashville concert previously scheduled for Thursday, May 5 will be rescheduled.

"Details about the rescheduled date will be announced shortly and Nashville tickets holders are advised to retain their tickets which will be honoured at the rescheduled event."

Beyonce kicked off her world tour in style on Wednesday (28 April) night, delighting fans in Miami with renditions of her biggest hits, and cuts from her latest album ‘Lemonade’.

The star also took the chance to praise her husband Jay Z, dedicating the final song of the night to him, following speculation over whether he may have been unfaithful.

While the night was (obviously) all about Queen Bey, two fans made a very good attempt at stealing the show when they nailed the choreography after bring brought on stage during ‘Single Ladies’.

The ‘Formation’ world tour will arrive in the UK in June, when the ‘Crazy In Love’ singer performs in Sunderland, Cardiff, London, Manchester and Glasgow.
