Beyonce has been apartment hunting without Jay Z amid rumours that their marriage is over, according to reports.
While the pair have put on an united front as marriage breakdown rumours fly, it now seems Bey has been looking to buy a new home in New York without her husband Jay.
According to the New York Post, the 32-year-old went to view a swanky penthouse apartment in Chelsea "on the sly" last month.
During the tour of the $21.5 million (around £12.6million) pad the singer kept herself to herself. Apparently that means she was viewing the apartment behind Jay Z's back and divorce papers are soon to be filed.
"She was very quiet, as if she was looking on the sly," a source spilled to the US newspaper.
Another insider told the publication that Jay's alleged absence was pretty telling as he has always played a strong role in their ventures in real estate.

The West 19th Street apartment that Beyonce reportedly looked at is less than half the size of their current 8,309-square-foot apartment in Tribeca.
"I can say with certainty that Jay is not downsizing," the source added.
"There's no way a $20 million apartment is for her mother or her sister. That would be wildly unlikely."
It comes as reports suggest the pair's marriage is on the rocks, with an insider told Page Six: "There's still something there, even though it's not going to last. Business is always part of the equation.
"They know they're the king and queen of hip-hop - and really, all of music. Neither wants to lose that.
"Knowing them as I do, obviously there's a little something to certain rumours. When your man or your woman isn't getting it done for you, and I'm talking emotionally, not necessarily sexually... they keep things quiet."
