Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon found the process of booting children off the ITV show so upsetting that she got her co-judge David Walliams to do it instead.
A BGT insider told The Sun: "She finds it really upsetting and she refused to do it this year. So David had to step in and break the news to her share of contestants.
"It wasn't really fair, because it is the hardest part of the entire audition process. It can be hard to let adults down, let alone children. Because kids take the rejection much harder it can be heartbreaking to see. Alesha definitely had an easy ride compared to the other judges."
