‘Big Brother’ viewers might notice a few familiar faces among this year’s housemates, when the new series kicks off on Tuesday (7 June).
No, we’re not talking about Nikki Grahame making a return to the house (although, let’s face it, that could be coming at any moment), but ‘X Factor’ singer Katie Waissel, who has been tipped to be putting in an appearance.
According to the Daily Star, producers are keen to throw a few minor celebs into the line-up of the regular series this year, off the back of the success ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ has had since moving to Channel 5.
Katie is best remembered for her time on the seventh series of ‘X Factor’ in 2010, where she divided viewers with her unique performance style, particularly when she landed a place in the live shows ahead of Gamu Nhengu.
She’s tipped to be joined in the ‘BB’ house by model Laura Carter and Natalie Rowe, the former sex worker who has made a string of claims about Chancellor George Osborne, after being photographed with him years prior.
A source told the Sunday People: “[Natalie] is a feisty character who has plenty to say and she’s likely to cause mayhem.
‘BB’ kicks off on Tuesday, at 9pm on Channel 5, with the new series pitting the housemates against a group of ‘Others’ who will be living alongside them in another house, unbeknown to them.
