'Big Brother' Evictee Marco Pierre White Jr In Court Over Drug-Driving Charges

He was pulled over in his car back in April.

‘Big Brother’ evictee Marco Pierre White Jr has appeared in court, on charges of driving while under the influence of drugs.

Marco was pulled over while driving in Hammersmith in west London back in April - weeks before entering the 'BB' house - when it’s alleged that he tested positive for cocaine.

He is said to have had more than 200 microgrammes of the class-A drug in his system at the time.

Photos taken on Tuesday morning (21 June), show him making his way to Hammersmith Magistrates’ Court, wearing a long t-shirt with a floral print and a grey hoodie.

It’s not yet known whether he intends to plead guilty for the charges.

Over the weekend, Marco became the first housemate to be evicted from the ‘BB’ house, marking the only time in 17 series that the viewing public chose a male contestant as their first evictee.

He may have only lasted 11 days in the house, but he certainly made an impression on both viewers and his fellow contestants, at one point bragging that he’d spent - in his words - “a quarter of a million pounds on prostitutes, cocaine and alcohol”.

Marco was also responsible for one of the most outrageous moments of the current series, when he was shown being “choked” by Laura Carter during a raunchy moment in the pod.

Channel 5’s decision to air the scene has sparked a backlash from some viewers, with Ofcom receiving more than 600 complaints.

The broadcasting regulator has now confirmed that they’ll be launching an investigation, saying in a statement: "We’re investigating whether sexual scenes in this episode of Big Brother exceeded generally accepted standards for its time of broadcast."
