This Wedding Dress Costs As Much As A House In London

Ain't no wedding like a billion dollar wedding.

It's safe to say women spend more on their wedding dress than any other dress purchased in a lifetime.

But when your entire wedding costs a Dr Evil worthy one billion dollars, it calls for a gown worthy of its own security guard.

Student Khadija Uzhakhovs, 20, married billionaire's son Said Gutseriev, 28, in Moscow this weekend wearing a jaw-dropping Elie Saab couture dress with a price tag that could equal the cost of a house. In London.

The princess-style gown was covered in days-worth of hand-stitched beaded embellishments and teamed with a matching tiara and handbag.

While Saab's creations usually peak at around £18,000, The Daily Mail reported that Uzhakhovs's bespoke gown cost around $1 million, which would make it one of the most expensive wedding dresses in the world.

But not the most expensive wedding dress in the world. According to Micar, that title belongs to 'The Diamond Wedding Gown' crafted with 150 carats of diamonds by Renee Strauss, and worth a cool $12 million.

We'll just be sticking with this £150 number from H&M, thanks.
