A new fashion campaign is aiming to prove that "ageism is so last century."
Department store Harvey Nichols chose 100-year-old model Bo Gilbert, to star in their advert in the upcoming June issue of Vogue - making her the first model of her age to appear in the magazine's pages.
The photoshoot, which also celebrates Vogue’s 100th Anniversary, aims to tackle ageism in the fashion industry by showing "the older generation can be fearlessly stylish."
The campaign was shot by world famous fashion photographer Phil Poynter, who founded ‘Dazed’ with Jefferson Hack and Rankin.
A two minute behind the scenes film will run across Harvey Nichols’ channels and will be supported by editorial on Vogue.co.uk.
Vogue’s 100th anniversary issue will be its biggest ever issue and is on sale in May.
