The bodies of a woman and her teenage daughter have been discovered in Surrey - a day after the girl's father was found dead in France.
Surrey Police said Lisa Anthony, 47, and 14-year-old Ava Anthony were found at their home in Esher yesterday morning.
The force said it was linking the incident to the death of a man in southern France on Sunday.
The man, who has not been named, is understood to Mrs Anthony's husband and Ava's father, who lived with them.
Surrey Police said it was working with the French Gendarmerie but it was not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
Officers were called at around 10am to the property in Simmons Gate in Esher - a gated community where homes are valued from £1 million to £2 million - after concerns were raised for two people living there.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Preston, the senior investigating officer, said: "This is a tragic incident where lives have been lost and our thoughts are with their family and friends at this time.
"We are in the very early stages of the investigation but we do not believe there to be any threat to the wider community and I would like to reassure the public that this is thought to be an isolated incident. We are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths."
Surrey Police said formal identification had not taken place but they believe the bodies are that of Ms Anthony and her daughter Ava.
The deaths have been reported to the Surrey Coroner.
