A body has been found by police searching for a 48-year-old man who disappeared after his wife died suddenly.
Lee Taylor, from Tadworth, Surrey, went missing after members of his family dropped him off at his home on Saturday following the “unexpected" death of his wife, Carole, earlier that day.
He is believed to have left his home at about 7am on Sunday.
Police were informed of his disappearance and his car, a silver Peugeot 407, was found in Dorking before his body was found later in the same area.
A Surrey Police spokeswoman said: "A body, believed to be that of missing Tadworth man Lee Taylor, has been found in the Dorking area.
"The body was found around 11.25pm last night, during a search for the missing 48-year-old.
"Although formal identification has not yet taken place, the family of Mr Taylor has been informed.
"Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time."
