An eight-year-old boy received a 'letter from heaven' as he laid flowers on his dad's grave on Father's Day.
The poignant moment was caught on video by Gino Valentine's mum and it's now gone viral.
In the clip, which Gayle posted to her Facebook page, GIno finds a card addressed to him hidden under a heart-shaped stone on the grave of his dad, Daryl, who died in January 2010, aged just 24.
Gino's mum, Gayle, asks him what it said, before her son replies: "A letter from heaven."
Gino then reads the letter out – unaware it was written by his mum. His dad 'wrote': "Hi Gino, thank you for coming to see me on Father's Day.
"I know you don't remember me very well as I came here when you were only three-and-a-half but I do see you, Sophie, nanny and Granny and dad and auntie Laura all the time.
"Even though you can't see me I see you are doing very well at school. You have moved to Castledown which I think was a very good idea and yes, I hear you saying bad words.
"Sometimes when you are angry, it's ok to be angry, but please don't use bad words. It isn't very nice to hear.
"I wanted to come and see you but I can't 'cause it's not allowed when we go to heaven so I sneaked a letter inside for you to read. I miss you and I don't get older like mummy does!"
Gino turns around smiling as Gayle gasps and says 'cheeky!'.
After pausing briefly, he continues: "I hope I know how much I love you Gino, I am always listening and watching you all so don't worry.
"Give nanny and Granddad and auntie Laura a kiss for me please. Lots of love, Daddy."
When Gino finishes reading, Gayle, 42, from Hastings, East Sussex, says: "Wow, that's amazing" and Gino ends the video by saying: "I'm going to take this home with us."
Shortly after filming finished, Gino broke down in tears.
The 2min 49sec clip has been shared more than 10,000 times and 'liked' by 22,400 people.
Gayle uploaded the clip with the message: "Some of you may find this video stressful: Gino taking his Father's Day card to Daddy....he wasn't expecting this ...
"PS. I made this public for two reasons, for family that aren't on my friends list as my profile is private & if it helps one other child or parent then I'm ok with that."
Messages of support for the pair have flooded in. Lisa Knight wrote: "Bless him ... Made me cry. X"
Gayle replied: "He cried too after, which broke my heart but I wanted him to know how much his daddy loved his wee boy xx"
