Two 10-year-old boys who tried to poison their teacher's coffee have been allowed back in school.
The primary school boys poured a bleach-like fluid into Emma Place's flask.
They were excluded after the incident on April 29 but can now take part in Emma's classes.
The boys are also undergoing disciplinary procedures and counselling.
One fellow teacher told The Sun: "You can imagine our horror. There's nothing to stop them from doing it again - and with fatal consequences."
The plot is said to have been hatched by a pupil gang called The Mafia, who had a hit list of six teachers at Clapham Terrace Community Primary in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
The incident happened the day after Leeds teacher Ann Maguire was stabbed to death.
Emma, 39, was moments away from taking a sip out of the coffee flask when another child warned her.
One parent said: "The last thing any of us want is these boys being around our kids. They're a dangerous influence."
Another added: "They should be excluded permanently. You're criminally responsible from the age of ten, so they are lucky not to be prosecuted."
Headteacher Julie Miles insisted: "We are confident this was an isolated incident."
