When the past comes knocking in Hollywood, a high-speed car chase ensues.
The first trailer for Hit and Run, starring Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell, and Bradley Cooper, has been released - with a premise that's not too dissimilar to Ryan Gosling's Drive (but featuring very different characters).
Shepard reveals to Bell - the pair are engaged in real life and play a couple in the film - that he used to be "kind of involved in bank robbing", meaning he drove the getaway car. He's now in witness protection, but when Cooper comes knocking with a golf club it's time to go back on the run.
Escaping witness protection, he has to drive his girlfriend (Bell) to Los Angeles in order for her to get her dream job.
Old Dogs comedian Shepard wrote the project, and co-directed with David Palmer.
Kristin Chenoweth (Glee), Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville), Beau Bridges (The Descendants), Tom Arnold (True Lies), and David Koechner (Anchorman) also star in the comedy.
Hit and Run will be in cinemas around the end of August - no specific date for the UK as yet.
