Brian McFadden and Vogue Williams have announced they have split, after three years of marriage.

The couple both took to Twitter to share news of their break-up, insisting that they will remain friends.

Brian wrote: "It is with sadness that Vogue and I have made the tough decision to go our separate ways.

"We will always care greatly about each other, remain friends and we wish each other all the very best for the future."

He added: "We have nothing else to say on the subject and we would like to thank our friends and family for their support during this difficult period. Brian x."

Vogue also posted the same message.

The couple have split after three years of marriage

The former Westlife singer began dating the Irish model in May 2011, before they announced their engagement in January 2012. They married eight months later in Florence, Italy.

During their marriage, they appeared as a couple on ITV dance show ‘Stepping Out’, finishing in second place, while Vogue also won Bear Grylls' reality show 'Mission Survive'.

News of their split comes as Brian’s first wife Kerry Katona was also reported to have separated from her third husband, George Kay.
