After an undeniably massive 2019, Lewis Capaldi kicked off this year with the news that he was one of the most-nominated artists at this year’s Brit Awards, where he’s a contender for Best New Artist, Best British Single, Best British Male and the biggest award of the night, British Album Of The Year.
On Tuesday night, ahead of the ceremony, the Scottish singer-songwriter was one of the first celebrities on the red carpet, where he made it clear from the off that he was ready to party.
Whenever Lewis steps onto a red carpet, it’s a given that we’re in for a fun time, and we’re relived to see that the Brits were no exception, after he was seen striking a number of our favourite poses including...
The “oh my goodness I’m up for four Brit Awards how did this happen?”...
The “subtle middle finger”...
The “oh wait I’m a massive star now I don’t need to be subtle about anything anymore”...
The “I’m an angel really, I promise”...
The “Steps homage”...
The “I’ll have a consonant please, Lewis”...
The “year 11 prom standard pose”...
The “go on then, one serious one for my mum”...
And finally, this Capaldi classic...
Lewis previously stole the show on the Grammys red carpet last month, where he was nominated for Song Of The Year for his chart-topping breakthrough track Someone You Loved.
He also had a suitably ridiculous moment during the ceremony, when – despite being up for one of the night’s biggest awards – he was mistaken for... a seat-filler.
