The nominations for this year’s Brit Awards have now been revealed, with some of the biggest names in British music, including Adele, Jess Glynne, Sam Smith and Little Mix all up for awards.

Stars from across the pond have also received nods, with Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Kendrick Lamar all in the running to add to their ever-crowded awards cabinet, while Amy Winehouse has been honoured with a posthumous nomination, thanks to her appearance on the ‘Amy’ documentary soundtrack.

There’s no prizes for guessing that Adele has garnered the most nominations, with four to her name this year, as do Years & Years and 2015’s Critics’ Choice winner James Bay, while Jess Glynne and Calvin Harris both have three.

This year’s Brit Awards will be held on 24 February at London’s O2 Arena, with Ant and Dec returning to host, after winning praise for their efforts last year.

Adele was the first act confirmed to be performing, five years after storming the stage at the Brits in 2011 with her show-stopping rendition of ‘Someone Like You’, while Justin Bieber and Coldplay were announced shortly afterwards.

Since then, a host of stars, including Little Mix and The Weeknd, have also been revealed to be taking to the stage, with a special tribute to three-time Brit Award winner David Bowie also making up part of the evening.

Jack Garratt has also been confirmed to have won the 2016 Critics’ Choice Award, following in the footsteps of past winners, including Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, and Jessie J.
