Still reeling from their humiliating London election defeat, Britain First has taken to using some rather imaginative analogies in its crusade against mass immigration.
The latest meme posted by the far-right group on its Facebook page uses the red squirrel to hammer home the consequences of an invasion by foreigners.
There are a few things wrong with this as a direct comparison - not least the fact squirrels are squirrels, not humans.
Another factor to consider is that the battle of survival between red and grey squirrels is ecological rather that ideological.
As far as we know - and admittedly the research in this area is sparse - both species are atheist.
There is scant evidence of either red squirrels being fuelled by a misinterpretation of Christianity or their red counterparts following Islam.
Climate change and deforestation are credited with a decline in the number of reds as well a biological factors such as greys being larger and better able to extract nutrition from acorns.

On Sunday the group claimed the UK should be following the example of Japan who mercilessly crack down on Muslims, denying them citizenship, Korans and even rented houses.
