'Britain's Got Talent': Piers Morgan Criticises Judges For Not Being Tough Enough On Semi Final Acts

The former panellist reckons he should return to give out some real talk.

Former 'Britain's Got Talent' judge Piers Morgan has lambasted the panel for not being tough enough on this year's acts.

The 'Good Morning Britain' host, who served as a judge on the ITV talent show for four series from 2007 to 2010, disagreed with Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams over their praise of dance act Kronos Agoria

The panel were unanimous in their critique of the troupe, who were the first act to take to the stage during Tuesday's (24 May) semi final, with Amanda branding them the best dance act in the competition.

Piers had something to say about the matter, taking to Twitter to call for the judges to give more honest feedback.

"Come off it judges, that 1st act was messy & lame. Be tougher!" he tweeted.

He went on: "I saw acts like Diversity & Flawless dance ten times better."

When one fan asked which judge Simon should keep for next year's show, Piers replied: "Better question: 'Which one should he bring back?'"

During Vadik & The Bear's madcap performance, which saw six giant polar bears and a penguin appear on stage, he continued: "I'm going to have to come back, this is a farce.

"What this show needs is a judge who will look these deluded goons in the eye & say: 'You suck, sorry.'"

He added: "Problem with saying every act's 'brilliant', when they're clearly not, is that it devalues the really talented ones."

It is not the first time Piers has been critical of this year's competition, as earlier in the week, he threatened to return to the show if the judges didn't up their game.

"Come on judges, grow some talent talons please or I'll be forced to return," he tweeted during Monday's live show.

Now there's a terrifying thought...
