'Britain's Got Talent': Simon Cowell's Risqué Amanda Holden Autobiography Quip Has Viewers In Stitches

'I lay there panting in the grass.'

It's fair to say the 'Britain's Got Talent' semi finals have been a bit hit and miss so far this year, but Simon Cowell has more than made up for the lack of good quality acts with his latest dig at Amanda Holden

The music mogul had the nation in stitches as he made a risqué quip about his fellow judge during Tuesday (24 May) night's live semi final.

Amanda's autobiography was used during magician Richard Jones' latest impressive trick on the ITV talent show, and as Simon offered his feedback to the hopeful, he began to jokingly read out some of Mandy's book.

"That has to be magic, because I was sat here a foot away and nothing went in there," he told Richard.

"I’m reading parts of the book. It’s saying: ‘I lay there panting in the grass...'"

The saucy comment caused hysterics from his fellow judges, as Amanda shrieked and tried to grab the book from Simon.

His comments certainly kept those on Twitter entertained too:

The third semi final saw Richard earn a place in Saturday's grand final, along with dance troupe Boogie Storm, following the latest public vote.

‘Britain’s Got Talent’ continues tomorrow at 7.30pm and 9.30pm on ITV.
