The new series of Britain’s Got Talent has already become catty as Amanda Holden’s claws came out for former judge Kelly Brook in the first auditions.
The pregnant actress said new panellist Alesha Dixon will last longer on the show than model Kelly did in 2009 because she “has got a brain”.
Three years ago, Kelly sat on the judging panel for just two days before Simon Cowell decided the show was too slow with four judges.
Or perhaps Kelly was too slow for the show if Amanda is to be believed. Comparing Alesha and Kelly, Amanda told The Sun: “You'll have to talk to Simon about Alesha, he booked her, but I think she’s probably got something else – a brain.”
Amanda, Alesha, Simon Cowell and new judge David Walliams attended the first auditions for this year’s series in Salford yesterday.
Comedian David Walliams insisted he wouldn’t make the mistake of asking what Ant and Dec did on the show, like Kelly did in 2009.
He told The Sun: “I’ve learned which is Ant and which is Dec, so I should be fine.”
