‘Britain’s Got Talent’ violinist Lettice Rowbotham has admitted that she’s given up alcohol ahead of her performance in the live semi-finals on Thursday night.
She received a unanimous “yes” from the judging panel at her first audition, confessing before she took to the stage that she was feeling “too hungover to be nervous”.

However, it seems that Lettice has now turned over a new leaf and ditched the booze completely so she can keep a clear head before she performs live for the nation.

Lettice adds that she wants to prove to viewers that she is taking the competition seriously, compared to her first audition, saying: “As soon as it went on TV, I realised it was the best opportunity of my life and I want to give it my all.”
The classical violinist, who revealed recently that prior to her ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ audition she’d turned down a role in docusoap ‘Made In Chelsea’, will be competing against the likes of singer Eva Iglesias, dancers Light Balance and teenage rappers Bars and Melody - who moved Simon Cowell to hit his golden buzzer, guaranteeing them a place in the live semi-finals - for the last two places in the live final.
Find out how she gets on in Thursday night’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, airing live on ITV at 7.30pm.
