On Wednesday, George Osborne announced a sugar tax on soft drinks in a bid to tackle the rise in childhood obesity.

Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has been campaigning just such a tax to be introduced for some time and greeted the news with joy - and a little dance live on BBC TV.

Speaking to Sky News shortly after, Oliver was asked if it really was a coincidence he happened to be in Westminster just as the tax was announced by the chancellor.

"It was a fluke," he said, "It wasn't planned. "

Oliver said the battery on his phone had died because he had been told off so much by his press office for appearing on TV without telling them. "They don't want me doing this because I've got no one around me."

He added: "I'm happy."
