On Tuesday, the Inclusive Capitalism Conference is due to take place in London. The line up of speakers includes Bill Clinton, Christine Lagarde and Mark Carney. The movement began in 2012 to address the impact of capitalism over the last 30 years and particularly in the lead up to the crash.
Wednesday, May 28
Forbes is to publish its annual list of the most powerful women in the world on Wednesday. German Chancellor Angela Merkel headed the list in 2013, with Brazil President Dilma Rousseff and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation co-chair, Melinda Gates in second and third place. Queen Elizabeth II was in 40th place.
Thursday, May 29
On Thursday, full year results from Severn Trent, Tate & Lyle, Tata Motors which owns Jaguar Landrover and a first quarter update from Kingfisher, the owner of B&Q.
Friday, May 30
The Land Registry releases its monthly data showing house prices at national, regional, county and London borough level on Friday. April's figures showed an annual price increase of 6.7%, with the average house price in England and Wales at £172,069.
