Watching the weather is one of the most amazing ways to see nature in full effect. The elements of weather have shaped the world we live in over millions of years and continue to do so today. At The Weather Company, we are in the privileged position of being able to watch and track the weather around the world 24/7.
We have started to capture some of these amazing weather stories in our first ever series of short-form online video content Weather Films, which goes live this week.
Even the most subtle changes in the world's weather can now be identified, thanks to the thousands of weather models run each day by our meteorologists. We witness and report daily on how weather changes lives, often with dramatic and life-changing consequences. Our ability to tell weather stories is the basis for the original content we have produced for Weather Films.

Our first series is Brink, which looks at stories including the plight of baby seals in Newfoundland in danger of slaughter and the illegal smuggling of sea turtles in South America. This heart-wrenching content cannot fail to move.
Future series include Destination Uncharted, which explores some of the planet's most remote locations, from a burning volcano in Iceland to the stunning blue waters of the Galapagos Islands. Grid Breakers investigates the stamina it takes to climb the world's highest peaks, dive to the planet's deepest floors and survive the most punishing weather conditions. Alive will profile the courage of survivors who have defied death after battling the extremes of nature
We will premiere a new series of six episodes every two months and each episode will feature striking imagery and incredible accounts of everything from explorers fighting their way through the planet's extreme weather conditions, to outdoor athletes battling the elements to achieve their goals.
