Students at Cambridge University have been hit with more than £16,000 fines for theft, drunkenness, theft, drug taking and - bedwetting.
The fines, which were issued between 2011 and 2013, were revealed after a Freedom of Information request was submitted by student tabloid The Tab. The request also revealed that Magdalene College fined one of its students £400 for drug taking.
Other incidents included the stealing of silverware, the heisting of a college trolley and the theft of college candles. More serious instances involved serious damage to property and threatening behaviour at St Edmund's college.
Furthermore a student was subjected to hours of 'gardening duty' for stealing alcohol from a committee cupboard, whilst another was banned from Magdalene for a week for walking on a table.

Emmanuel College students managed to run up fines in excess of £4,000 - mostly on unpaid library fines and bills.
