In fact, Caroline has already competed in a different BBC dancing show, having been crowned winner of ‘Dancing On Wheels’ back in 2009.

The five-part BBC Three series saw a host of celebrities, including Heather Small, ‘Hollyoaks’ actor Kevin Sacre and Olympic swimmer Mark Foster paired up with a disabled dancing partner, who they would have to master a ballroom routine with.

Each week, one couple was eliminated in a dance-off, after getting critique from the judging panel, who were made up of married former ‘Strictly’ professionals James and Ola Jordan, and wheelchair basketball player Ade Adepitan.

As the winning couple, Caroline and her dance partner, James O’Shea, went on to represent the United Kingdom in the European Championships of Wheelchair Dancing in Tel Aviv, where they finished in 16th place in their category.

Despite being a favourite of both the judging panel and ‘Strictly’ fans, Caroline had previously admitted to being “nervous” ahead of the live final, where she danced against Frankie Bridge, Simon Webbe and former ‘TOWIE’ cast member Mark Wright.
