'X Factor' Fans Wonder Where Caroline Flack Is During Audition Episodes, But There's A Simple Explanation For Her Absence

The Real Reason Caroline Flack Is ‘Missing' From ‘The X Factor'

If you listen to people on Twitter, Caroline Flack appears to have gone missing from ‘The X Factor’ - but there is a very simple explanation as to why the show’s new co-host hasn’t featured much on the new series so far.

As the latest episodes of the ITV talent show aired over the weekend, fans commented that it seemed like she’d been edited out by producers:

Even Caroline has defended herself against the criticism, as when one fan tweeted: “Oh @carolineflack1 finally did something...walked contestant’s dog on stage! Bravo! #XFactor,” she hit back: “I don’t edit the show. Leave me alone.”

However, what Caroline didn’t say is that she actually missed quite a few of the audition days as she was filming ‘Love Island’ at the same time, having to jet back and forth from Mallorca.

Mystery solved.

The presenter has also been forced to speak out against the Daily Star’s report that she backed ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ over ‘X Factor’.

Caroline won the last series of the BBC ballroom show, before she signed up to replace Dermot O’Leary as ‘X Factor’ host alongside Olly Murs, who she previously presented spin-off show ‘Xtra Factor’ with.

Speaking of ‘Strictly’, she reportedly said: "It is the best show. It was the best time of my life."

However, taking to Twitter, Flackers said that the comments had been taken out of context, and her heart was with her new ‘X Factor’ family.

"I hate commenting on ridiculous news stories but I'm saying this out of respect for my team,” she wrote.

“What I said about ‘Strictly’ was taken completely out of context. Yes, I LOVED it but my heart and home is with ‘X Factor’.”
