Catherine Zeta-Jones threw a spanner in the celebrity split works on Wednesday. The actress was spotted for the first time since her marriage to Michael Douglas broke down STILL wearing her wedding ring.
The 43-year-old was on her way to church in Greenwhich, Connecticut when she was spotted looking rather down in the dumps but with that rock well and truly on her ring finger.
Meanwhile, Michael was at the premiere of his new flick Behind The Candelabra in Germany after picking up the Legend prize at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards in London on Tuesday.
According to the Mirror Michael is desperate to salvage his marriage. "He is giving Catherine all the space she needs," an insider said. "As far as he is concerned, every marriage has its ups and downs, and this is just a blip."
Mike and Cath, who got hitched back in 2000, haven't been seen together since April and just last week Michael's rep confirmed their separation, saying they were "taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage".
