'Celebrity Big Brother': Sam Faiers Talks Former 'TOWIE' Star Lauren Goodger's 'CBB' Stint, 'It Could All Go Wrong'

Sam Faiers: 'Knowing Lauren This Could All Go Wrong'

Sam Faiers has admitted that she’s not sure her former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ co-star Lauren Goodger’s stint on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ will work in her favour.

The two stars were among the original cast members on ‘TOWIE’ when it launched back in 2010, but have both since left the docusoap and gone on to do other projects, with Lauren entering the 'CBB' house live on Monday night.

However, Sam - who herself appeared on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in January - has confessed she’s not sure what the outcome of Lauren’s ‘CBB’ stint will be, telling ‘Big Brother’s Bit On The Side’ viewers: “Do you know what? Obviously I’ve worked with Lauren for a few years, and it’ll either go one way or the other.

“Unfortunately for her, knowing Lauren, it could go the wrong way… but I hope for her sake it doesn’t.”

Lauren and Sam came to blows a number of times while they were appearing on ‘TOWIE’, including in the show’s very first episode when Lauren branded Sam a “c***” when she saw she was out with her ex-boyfriend, Mark Wright.

Meanwhile, ‘BBBOTS’ panelist Luisa Zissman, who appeared in the same series of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ as Sam, appeared to have a sly dig at Lauren when she told her ex-housemate: “You’re my favourite ‘TOWIE’ girl, Lauren Goodger’s got nothing on you, babes.”

Luisa and Lauren became embroiled in a feud earlier this year, after Lauren spoke publicly about a six-second clip that had been shared online, showing her engaged in a sex act with her then-boyfriend.

Among Lauren's new housemates are Kelly Brook's muscleman fiancé David McIntosh and Kellie Maloney, the former boxing coach who made headlines earlier this month when she officially revealed she was a trans woman.
