'Celebrity Big Brother' contestant Paula Hamilton left viewers gobsmacked last night when she claimed that the late Jade Goody's death was caused by the reality show.
Jade, who appeared in the 2002 'civilian' edition before returning to the house five years later as a 'celebrity' contestant, lost her battle with cervical cancer in 2009.
Former model Paula made the claims after finding out she was up for eviction having been nominated by her fellow housemates - news she did not take well.
During a bizarre rant where she also threatened to quit the show, Paula said: "I wonder how many people have committed suicide after being on these programmes?
"It’s torture. It killed Jade. All that negativity did that. I think it gave her cancer."

It isn't the first time Paula has been at the centre of controversy since entering the famous house last week.
Paula is facing eviction from the house along with jockey Frankie Dettori and US reality stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.
