It seems every week there is another twist or turn in Chantelle Houghton's and Alex Reid's relationship.
And sure enough this week sees new reports emerge that Chantelle is ready to leave fiance Alex and would "rather be a single mum" to their newborn daughter Dolly.
Speaking to Now magazine, a friend of Chantelle's told of how she has been telling pals: "I'll walk out if things don't get better. I want it to work for Dolly's sake, but I won't stay if I'm this miserable.
'"I might have rushed into it, I don't want to marry if I'll be unhappy. I'd rather be a single mum".
Chantelle has taken to her New! magazine column to comment on the couple's status, but added fuel to the fire that all is not well.
She told of how their relationship had become "strained" after recent press speculation.
She wrote: "Alex flew to Glasgow for the night last Friday, where he MCd at a cage fight. It was his godson’s birthday on Saturday so he popped into his party
"Things between us have been strained lately, and there has been a lot of stuff in the press and that’s made things hard. That’s all I want to say at the moment."
A source also told New! magazine that the arguments have erupted again over Alex's cross dressing habits.
"When Alex got back from Glasgow, they had big rows over him wanting to dress as Roxanne and issues he has with his sexual preferences," they said.
"The row exploded and last Monday he took a load of sex toys to his mum's in Surrey. It's likely that he's gone off to dress up as Roxanne."
It isn't the first time the pair have argued over the issue.
Earlier this year, a friend of Chantelle's told Heat magazine: "(Chantelle) opened up a box full of Roxanne's dresses and heels. Alex had promised he wouldn't dress as Roxanne anymore, and she believed him.
"It's something she just doesn't get - she thinks it's seedy and inappropriate. Seeing all that stuff in their new family home together made her feel sick."
