We're enjoying the trend for American stars showcasing British style Stateside at the moment. Not only did we have Sandra Bullock wearing McQueen in New York last night, but we saw Stella McCartney.

The blonde beauty was in attendance at the LA premiere of her new movie, Young Adult, which was held at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Now while we applaud Charlize's choice to wear Stella, and we're fans of the quirky asymmetric design - something's just not quite working for us on this occasion. (We think the dress could do with a good hoist up. It's not looking so flattering around the bust.)
Expect to see a lot more of Charlize on the red carpet in the coming months - it was announced yesterday that she's been nominated for the Best Actress Golden Globe for her role in Young Adult.
