Christmas can be a stressful time if you're short on cash, but buying food for the big day may cost less than you think.
The Co-op has launched a £10 Christmas dinner that feeds a family of four for just £2.50 per head.
The frozen deal includes a British turkey crown, roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts, roast parsnips, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings and a dessert.
The Christmas dinner deal will be available in the Co-op’s frozen aisle from 16 December until 26 December.
Calum Kirk, head of frozen at Co-op, said: "As well as excellent value for money, quality was also key in ensuring we deliver a great offer to our customers for Christmas so we have included only the best products in the deal to ensure everybody enjoys every bit of their Christmas dinner – even the sprouts."
Previously speaking to HuffPost UK Lifestyle Steve Nowottny from MoneySavingExpert said a lot of families feel the financial pinch at this time of year.
He said: "The most important point is to spend what you can afford, not buy what you desire. Christmas is one day – don’t ruin the whole of next year for it."
