Cher Lloyd might spend a lot of her time Stateside these days, but over the weekend she proved she can still cause a stir here in Blighty as she took to the stage at London’s G-A-Y nightclub.
The former ‘X Factor’ contestant donned a leather ensemble and heavy-looking boots as she debuted new material from her forthcoming album ‘Sorry I’m Late’.

She also wore a sleeveless leather top detailed with metal studs, which showed off her ever-growing collection of tattoos.
It wasn’t all new material though, as she also performed some of her older hits, including the chart-topping ‘Swagger Jagger’, which she released in 2011, having finished behind One Direction and Matt Cardle in ‘The X Factor’ months earlier.

Her new single is going head-to-head with the latest release from her former ‘X Factor’ mentor, the artist formerly known as Cheryl Cole’s ‘Crazy Stupid Love’.
However, despite their chart battle it doesn’t sound like there’s any rivalry between the two stars, and Cher even publicly supported Cheryl following the announcement of her marriage to her French beau Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
Cher, who married her husband Craig Monk last November, told Digital Spy: “You could meet some person one day and just know.
"I've seen a lot of people talking about the amount of time they've spent together - I think that's absolutely irrelevant. I really do hope that she can finally enjoy being in a really happy relationship.”
Meanwhile Cher recently revealed that her time spent on ‘The X Factor’ in 2010 wasn’t always enjoyable, and advised young people to think twice before taking part.
