It seems Ashley Cole has wormed his way back into Cheryl's heart - she now considers her ex to be one of her friends.
The Girls Aloud beauty was destroyed when reports of Ashley's cheating emerged, and she ended their four-year marriage in 2010.
She has previously spoken of her heartbreak and humiliation, admitting she turned to cigarettes and booze to help her through her lowest point, but now she has forgiven the footballer for his betrayal.
And Cheryl even worries that Ashley was made the villain as their split played out in the headlines.
In a new interview with Glamour magazine, she said: "There's this perception that Ashley's an arrogant p**ck, but he's really not. We talk occasionally and I would say we are friends."
The singer, who is now dating back-up dancer Tre Holloway, isn't ruling out another trip down the aisle.
She added: "Could I see myself getting married again? Never say never. I always said I'd like to have a big family, because I'm from one, so I'd like four or five children.
"But I don't know realistically if that's ever going to happen. You can't assume things. I never thought I'd get a divorce."
