The Fight For This Love singer was driving home from a studio in Los Angeles when they fancied a trip to the golden arches.

The crash left the pair with minor injuries - photos taken at the scene show poor Chezza sporting a bloodied nose and looking shocked as the Black Eyed Peas star tried to comfort her while he had also blood streaming down his face after the vehicle's airbag deployed.

The rapper was left in a neck brace after visiting a nearby hospital, and Cheryl's arm was strapped up in a sling.

She is now back to the UK just hours after her ordeal as she refused to cancel her flight home because she wanted to stick to her promotional schedule for her next song.

A source tells The Mirror: "They were both incredibly shaken up by the incident. Cheryl felt dazed for quite a while afterwards.

"But despite people urging her to rest and relax, she insisted on getting on her plane and getting back into the swing of things.

"She's a workaholic and in this respect, it's a good thing as it will take her mind off what happened."
