Cheryl Cole Fernandez-Versini really isn’t happy with being referred to by her former name, as ‘X Factor’ warm-up guy Ian Royce reportedly found out at the weekend.

The comedian apparently referred to the judge as ‘Cheryl Cole’, and according to reports, she didn’t waste any time in correcting him.

A show insider has told the Sun that Cheryl “looked really peeved” before telling Ian: “Cole’s not my name.”

Since her marriage to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, Cheryl has dropped ‘Cole’ from her name on Twitter and Instagram, and the ‘X Factor’ announcer now refers to her by her married name.

This series of ‘X Factor’ hasn’t exactly been smooth-sailing for Cheryl and she’s already lost two of her acts.

Cheryl hasn’t exactly been getting along well with Simon Cowell either, and during Saturday’s show she swapped seats with Louis Walsh to move away from the music mogul.

Cheryl confirmed her secret marriage to Jean-Bernard in July, posting a picture of her wedding and engagement rings on Instagram with the caption: “I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news. Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together."
