Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Set To Become Record-Breaker With Latest Single ‘I Don't Care'

Cheryl Set To Become A Record-Breaker

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is set to become a record-breaking solo artist, if her latest single ‘I Don’t Care’ tops the Official UK Chart this weekend.

At present, the ‘X Factor’ judge is on track for the number one spot, and if ‘I Don’t Care’ holds onto pole positon, Cheryl will become the first British, female solo artist to top the chart five times.

At present, the record of four is held by Rita Ora and Geri Halliwell (yes, seriously).

Cheryl's previous numbers ones are 'Fight For This Love', 'Promise This', 'Call My Name' and 'Crazy Stupid Love', which features Tinie Tempah.

While Cheryl will probably be rather pleased with her single sales, she hasn’t exactly been having an easy time of it lately.

Earlier this week, Cheryl was forced to defend herself when ‘X Factor’ viewers accused her of miming during her performance of 'I Don't Care' on Sunday night’s results show.

One Instagram user received a shock after posting a cheeky remark about Cheryl’s performance, when she replied directly to their message.

Chezza's husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini has also used the app to defend his wife, slamming fans who were commenting on the singer's weight.

Cheryl has just one act left on ‘X Factor’, following Lola Saunders’ exit at the weekend.
