'Celebrity Big Brother' 2016: Christopher Biggins 'Set To Pocket HUGE Fee' For Signing Up

Could Biggins be the first star to pull off the double whammy of reality TV wins?

Christopher Biggins is reportedly about to land himself a pretty penny to enter the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.

The new series of the reality show kicks off next week, with Biggins the latest star said to be among those taking part.

According to The Sun, he’s set to pocket £150,000 for his appearance, which is thought to be highest fee of this year’s contestants.

However, Biggins’ rumoured fee is still a long way off from the highest-paid ‘CBB’ housemate ever, as the late David Gest thought to have received £600,000 for his appearance in January, although he eventually left the show prematurely for health reasons.

Behind him in the rankings is eventual winner Katie Price, who bagged a cool half million for her stint, while Katie Hopkins and Kellie Maloney are each thought to have received £400,000 to take part.

‘CBB’ would be the latest in a long line of reality show appearances for Christopher Biggins.

The TV personality and actor has already been crowned King Of The Jungle, having taken part in ‘I’m A Celebrity’ back in 2007, with stints on ‘Celebrity Masterchef’ and ‘Celebrity Five To Go…’ also under his belt.

Over the past week, more rumours about the line-up of this year’s ‘CBB’, with Marnie Simpson, Sam Fox and Lewis Bloor tipped to be among the British stars taking part.

Meanwhile, ‘Mob Wives’ cast member Renée Graziano and Danity Kane’s Aubrey O’Day are thought to be flying in from across the pond specially for the new series, which kicks off on Thursday (28 July) on Channel 5.
