Last night Christopher Hitchens was memorialised with a special award by the Orwell Prize committee.
The author, speaker and journalist, famous for his strong opinions on religion, died in December 2011. His collection of essays, Arguably, was also longlisted for the book award.
The literary prize celebrates publications which its judges believe fits best to the ambition of "making political writing into art", something which Hitchens publishers thought Arguably was capable of, describing it as "the most comprehensive collection of the work of the finest English essayist since Orwell." Quite an accolade.
To commemorate the outspoken writer, we've compiled his best moments on film. So why not take a little time out to remember 'Hitch'?
