It is the end of the road (or should that be Street?) for real-life 'Corrie' couple Alan Halsall and Lucy-Jo Hudson, as they have announced their split.
MORE 'CORONATION STREET':
The former co-stars, who met on the set of the ITV soap, have decided to go their separate ways after seven years of marriage, but insist they will "remain close friends" for the sake of their two-year-old daughter.
The pair - best know as Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs and Katy Harris - released a joint statement to reveal the news, which read: "Lucy-Jo Hudson and Alan Halsall are sad to announce that they have separated.
"They have shared many wonderful years together and will remain close friends.
"They ask for privacy at this emotional time, to allow both to focus on their beautiful daughter Sienna-Rae, to ensure her continued happiness."
Alan and Lucy-Jo met when she first joined 'Corrie' in 2002, and got together shortly afterwards.
She left her role as murderous Katy in 2005, and tied the knot with Alan in 2009, before they welcomed their daughter in September 2013.
While Alan has remained on the cobbles as the soap's resident mechanic, Lucy-Jo has gone on to star in shows such as 'Wild At Heart' and 'Casualty'.
She recently announced that she was filming a role in BBC daytime soap 'Doctors', tweeting that it was "so good to be back at work".
