Brooke Vincent has reportedly split up from her footballer boyfriend, Josh McEachran, after four years together.

The ‘Coronation Street’ actress, who is best known for playing Sophie Webster in the ITV soap, is thought to have broken up with her long-time boyfriend last week, due to the long-distance turn their relationship has recently taken.
According to The Sun, Josh’s current stint as a loan player for the Dutch football team Vitesse Arnhem “drove a wedge” between them, and eventually led to their break-up.

A source tells the newspaper: “Brooke and Josh still have feelings for each other, but their long-distance relationship has just been too hard.
“The split is for good.”
The Sunday People claim that Brooke is getting through the split with the help of her friends, with a source saying: “It’s a difficult time for her because he was her first love. But she’s a positive person and she’s got many good friends, so she’ll be fine.”
Meanwhile, it’s thought that Brooke’s soap character is also about to find herself newly-single, following the announcement that actress Amy Kelly - who plays Sophie’s girlfriend, Maddie - is about to bid farewell to the cobbles.
Amy said, after the news broke of her soap exit: “I made the decision to leave because I'm young and adventurous and I want to gain more experience and explore and improve my craft. Acting is my passion and I'm excited to see where it takes me.”
